The Logos of God

John is the simplest Gospel in the New Testament - but it's also the deepest Gospel. It uses easy words, words that even children can understand. Nothing in this Gospel is going to be over our heads.

On the other hand the ideas that the Apostle teaches us in this book are some of the most profound truths in the Bible. Here is the Word of God through whom the world was created, the Light that reveals not only this world but the world of God. The Light shows us the true God, our own hearts, the dark world we live in, the war between God and the forces of darkness, and - most importantly - the Way to eternal life.

These sermons explore the first five verses of the Gospel of John and the revelation of God in Jesus Christ.
