On a distant planet, Exobiologist, explorer and reluctant hero Jules Rammis is searching for the missing link between the reptiles of the alien world and life on Earth.

After archaeologist Christine Saynes disappears, Jules gets a new assignment. Tasked with finding the missing scientist, he accidentally stumbles upon a previously undiscovered life form on the planet: The Loranth.

After Jules learns of a cruel plan being hatched on the planet, long-kept secrets awaken. He faces a difficult choice: either let his guilt swallow him whole, or step up and save all humankind.
