Notă biografică
Patrick Hayden-Roy completed his undergraduate degree in History at the University of Southern California, and his Ph.D. at Stanford University in 1988. He has published on the regulation of heterodoxy in the era of the Reformation. Recently he has focused on the development of Martin Luther as a nationalist icon from the nineteenth century into the era of Nazism. He is at work on a study of Katharina von Bora, Luther's spouse, and how her image supported Nazi gender politics and eugenic policy during the 1930s. He serves as Professor of History and Director of International Studies at Nebraska Wesleyan University.
