Welcome to the study of the Gospel of Matthew in a book form entitled The Making of a Teacher: Bible Studies in the Gospel of Matthew. Matthew's message is powerful and relevant to our current human situation. Matthew shares with us the topic of sanctification. During this study we will experience the meaning of this word instead of just studying it. In this way, the meaning of sanctification is transformed into the joy of living in what I call our "Spiritual Oasis." I'll explain what a Spiritual Oasis is as we go.Matthew's message is powerful and relevant to our current human situation. Matthew gives us a training manual for teaching the Deeply Satisfied Life. Matthew's teaching role model is Jesus. We have charted the Gospel of Matthew and organized it into twenty-nine (29) lessons. We will refer to the Sections of this chart at the beginning of each chapter to indicate where we are in the study.
