Recenzii

I found this to be an incredibly comprehensive and illuminating piece of work that has convinced me that the medium of Beckettian scholarship itself can be diverse and that we can use different methodologies to arrive at our theses.
[S]ignificantly supplement[s] as well as coalesce[s] a generation of genetic scholarship, and refresh[es] appreciation of Beckett's achievement. The extent of the avant-texte mapping, the attention to variants across languages, editions, and productions, the clarity of presentation, and the sustained critical acumen are of the highest order. Like the other volumes in this superb series, the books are generously illustrated with facsimile pages and other images from, among others, Beckett's notebooks, faux départs, marginalia and doodles, right down to his verso calculations of Molloy's farts and the rotation of his sucking stones.
