Notă biografică

Brian is a family man. He has a great deal of growth in personal relationships. In many respects he had a very good upbringing but when he left home was well 'behind the eight ball' in terms of relating to other people, especially the opposite sex. Therefore he learned a great deal through the process of living - the school of hard knocks. The real and important factor - where the rubber meets the road. Brian does not have any formal qualifications in marriage relationships, but he does have a wonderful family which he and Alison have raised to adulthood. Many people say that it is the fruit that counts. And the fruit of a marriage is the children. Recently one of his children said that increasingly she realises the benefits of being raised in the family she grew up in. So, Brian is a normal bloke with a normal job. When his daughter and her fiancé announced their engagement he started writing about how to have a good marriage. Between the engagement and the wedding this became a valuable dossier that was full of good ideas. Since several people requested a copy at the wedding - and for several months afterwards he decided to turn it to a book so that many people could benefit from the ideas. He finds the feedback from people who have found it useful very encouraging. He finds it so good to help people grow in their relationships. After-all that is what life is really about - if we don't have good relationships what do we really have?
