Three years after solving the case of the "Rockwell Ripper," former real-life crime writer "Icky" Mickey Turner is trying to get on with his life. He's given up writing, a move that bothers a seriously disturbed killer, known only as "Qualtrough," who wants to be the star of Mickey's next book. As Qualtrough's plans move forward and mutilated bodies are discovered, Mickey finds that the only way to save himself and his friends from the maniac is for him to come out of retirement and solve the case. But can he go back to being "Icky" Mickey without losing his mind?
