"The Neurotic Cook Book" combines cooking and psychoanalysis in 50 chapters, an allusion on the number of minutes of a psychoanalytic session, in which humor and fiction are main spices. Along the book, family relations, psychological themes as well as psychoanalytic concepts are presented as a context in which writer and psychoanalyst Ana Cecilia Carvalho teaches her recipes for a good meal meant to gather friends and relatives around a generous and joyful dining table.
