The SAT Exam Cram is the most efficient, effective, and concise method of study for the new SAT exam, helping students improve their scores on this all-important college admissions exam. The SAT is a three-hour test that will be taken by an estimated 2 million students in 2005, measuring the verbal and mathematical reasoning skills students have developed, as well as the skills they must have to be successful in college. Many colleges and universities use the SAT as one indicator; while class rank, high school GPA, extracurricular activities, personal essay, and teacher recommendations are also an indication of a student's readiness to perform college-level work. SAT scores are compared with the scores of other applicants and the accepted scores at the institution. It also can be used as a basis for awarding merit-based financial aid. The SAT Exam Cram, co-authored by best-selling author Mike Gunderloy, who himself registered a near-perfect SAT score, gives students precise instruction on what to study and how to study. Additionally, the book features numerous examples, quizzes, and practice exams to sharpen the skills students need to score higher on the exam.

The SAT Exam CramAbout the Authors
Mike Gunderloy aced his own SATs and has gone on to two college degrees and a successful career in computer consulting. As lead developer for Lark Group, Inc., Mike has worked with small businesses, nonprofit organizations, and Fortune 500 corporations alike, as well as trained many other developers in the use of Microsoft products. Mike lives on a farm in eastern Washington state, along with his wife and children and an ever-changing array of horses, sheep, llamas, geese, turkeys, chickens, ducks, peacocks, cats, dogs, and guinea fowl. When he's not busy testing and writing about software, Mike can usually be found in his garden or greenhouse, trying to persuade recalcitrant vegetables to grow, or out on the land, trying to persuade noxious weeds to stop growing.
You can reach Mike at MikeG1@larkfarm.com or http://www.larkware.com/.
