After a full year of no contact, her call had come completely out of the blue, yet at the same time attorney Nick Cromwell had been expecting it. Michele Concannon, the one that got away, had finally come crawling back. But she never makes it to their reunion, a one-car accident having landed her in a coma. Nick races to be by her ICU bedside and learns that her accident was anything but.
