The NightDragon, the new protector of the city of Nocturnity, finds himself facing a number of complications. As Johnny Chen, he has come into contact with Sonya Gunn, a young police officer who has been assigned to the police department's task force intent on catching him. And a mutual attraction is forming. As a vigilante, he's become the target of Eagle Force, a special counter-terrorism unit of the NSA, led by a no-nonsense gung-ho major who means to get his man.
