When, by some miracle, I reached my fortieth birthday I chose to thank my parents for my existence by writing a thank you poem for my mother. Reaching my fiftieth birthday and having lost both parents I wrote an update to the poem. i then composed the story of my life in prose i hope that you enjoy reading my odes as much as I enjoy writing them.
