The Global Institute for Tomorrow (GIFT) is an independent social venture think tank based in Hong Kong, dedicated to advancing an understanding of the reshaping of the rules of global capitalism and the evolving social contracts that exist between business, government and civil sectors.

Chandran Nair is the founder and Chief Executive of GIFT, the Global Institute for Tomorrow. He lives in Hong Kong.

Pankaj Mishra was born in northwest India in 1969 and lives in London and Mashobra, India. The author of An End to Suffering (FSG, 2004) and Temptations of the West (FSG, 2006), as well as a novel, The Romantics, he writes for The New Yorker, The New York Review of Books, The New York Times Book Review, and The Guardian.

Amy Goodman, is an broadcast journalist, syndicated columnist, investigative reporter and author. Goodman is the host of Democracy Now!, an independent global news program broadcast daily on radio, television and the Internet, which she co-founded in 1996.She lives in New York.
