The Other Side of the Frame

After a visit from her uncle, Sami spots something in the corner of her room that she's never seen before. It's a large brown box that is blank on the outside, but there's something inviting about it-and against her better judgment, Sami opens the box.

Inside, Sami discovers giant poles and an instruction booklet with pages that turn on their own. Once she puts the poles together to form a frame, Sami is sucked into a foreign world. Here she encounters a house that seems out of place, a horse of unexplained intelligence, and a telescope that allows her to see through objects.

Hurried by time restrictions and forced to make difficult choices with only confusing clues to guide her, Sami embarks on a quest to return home. On the journey she encounters people of all ages who share stories about strangers who suddenly appear and seem to have knowledge of future events. But can they aid Sami in her desperate search to find a way home?
