Recenzii
Review from previous edition The most authoritative and comprehensive one-volume history of the British Army ever written
A score of admirable essays that trace the army's history from the Anglo-Saxon fyrd to the Gulf War and even a glance into the dark glass of the future.
a highly readable and thorough history which will both entertain and educate
has the advantage that each chapter can be read as a self-contained piece...excellent
