Louisa Allen is Professor in the Faculty of Education and Social Work at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
Mary Lou Rasmussen is Professor in the School of Sociology at the Australian National University.

Louisa and Mary Lou have a reputation for cutting-edge theoretical and empirical work in this area, evidenced by their previous award of a prestigious Australian Research Council Discovery Project Grant and a proven track record of working successfully together. They hold editorial positions on esteemed international journals such as Qualitative Research, Sex Education and the Journal of LGBT Youth and are frequently asked to deliver keynotes on sexuality education in the UK, US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
