The Perseid Plan

Nevada highway patrol trooper Joshua Newell always wanted to be a police officer. After serving a four-year commitment as a military policeman in Iraq and Afghanistan, he trades the Middle Eastern deserts for his hometown, Las Vegas in the Mojave Desert. Except marathon training, which is the result of a lost bet, everything is going according to plan.

That is, until he becomes drawn into a terrorist plot that the FBI is tracking. A vengeful mastermind has planted twelve RVs loaded with explosives all over the country's national parks, and there isn't much clock left before they decimate facilities full of innocent lives. Joshua works with FBI agent Ember Price, and they develop more than a mutual respect for each other as they race the clock and hunt down this coldblooded, homegrown terrorist.
