The Phenomeno–Logic of the I – Essays on Self–Consciousness

Autor James G. Hart, Tomis Kapitan
en Limba Engleză Hardback – 21 aug 1999
Hector Neri Castaneda is recognised as one of the most important philosophers of the late-twentieth century and appreciated by many as the most influential philosopher to come out of Latin America to date. Although he was brilliantly original, a prolific writer, and directed his talents toward a variety of topics, until now his essays have been largely scattered in journals and anthologies. The Phenomeno-Logic of the I brings together Castaneda’s most notable published and unpublished work on the nature of self and the structure of its experiences. Readers will find a lively introduction to Castaneda’s thought as well as an opportunity to explore his rich and distinct voice. This unique volume will appeal to those interested in the philosophy of mind, cognitive science, and artificial intelligence as well as students of Castaneda and Latin American philosophy.
