Notă biografică

Richard Betts, Jr., was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1964. His mother (a Philadelphia public school teacher's assistant) and father (a truck driver and Philadelphia catholic high school football coach) raised him and his three brothers in the blue-collar section of Mayfair/Tacony in Philadelphia, PA. Richard Betts, Jr. attended Abraham Lincoln High School in Philadelphia and graduated in 1982. He enrolled at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) in Indiana, PA and graduated with a bachelor's degree in journalism in December of 1986. He lives with his wife and two children in Warrington, PA.
