Recenzii
In bringing together social policy experts from different backgrounds to confront welfare regime paradigms in the Global South, this book offers a critical and full encompassing account of how 'ideas about welfare travelled from the North' and how new epistemologies crafted in the South shed light on the understanding of contemporary social protection systems permanently under scrutiny. This book is a must-read for anyone interested in social policy analysis and its ties to development theories."
This volume is not only a beautiful homage to Ivar Lødemel's academic legacy but is, in its own right, an impressive and scientifically authoritative compendium of 'welfare state' developments in the Global South. It is a collection destined to become required reading in advanced social policy courses."
