Notă biografică

Irina Perianova has a PhD from Moscow Linguistic University. For many years she has taught at the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, Bulgaria. Her interdisciplinary research interests include cultural anthropology, discourse analysis, pragmatics, intercultural communication, and sociolinguistics. She has published extensively on these subjects in different languages. Irina Perianova is on the Executive Board of the Bulgarian chapter of ESSE (European Society for English Studies) and a winner of several research grants in different countries.
