Monica's school is having a pet parade, and she doesn't have a pet. When Mernacky, a nickname, pleads with her mom to get a pet her mom hands her a potato shaped like a duck. Mernacky promises to take care of the Potato Duck for a month which is harder than she thinks, especially with her mom in charge.
