Recenzii
The thread of solution-focusedness, narrative techniques, and empowering strategies used throughout this textbook for both assessment and intervention across practice with individuals, families, groups, communities, and organizations is a clever teaching and learning framework! Additionally, Generalist Social Work by Berg-Weger and Tyuse is a superb resource for integrative learning, assisting students in connecting the five main areas of social work education and practice with ease (i.e. practice, research, policy, diversity, and HBSE).
Dr Raquel Warley, Walden University
This is an essential tool which unlocks and connects ethics, theory, the CSWE 2022 EPAS, and current research across diverse client systems while preparing students for direct practice and graduate school. This textbook is infused with up to the minute comprehensive theory and interventions through engaging and interactive case studies, which guide the emerging social worker to be prepared for micro, mezzo, and macro level practice from engagement to termination in a seamless manner.
