The Rented Violin
Autor Karen Whalleyen Limba Engleză Paperback – 31 dec 2002
The first book by a poet who finds the numinous in ordinary things. At first glance the poems seem simple lyrics of domestic life, but they also take us deeply into the spiritual realm. Whalley shows us how beautiful and valuable are the parts of our lives we tend to overlook.

Descriere
This book should appeal particularly to women, as Whalley writes with straightforwardness and humor about life as a middle-aged, blue collar, divorced mother. This is a book of quiet celebration, not anger.
