THE RESURRECTION

Autor Gilles Charles Vuille
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 5 dec 2020
Death-for most people-is an event that should - alas- not be discussed, showing too often embarrassment toward this taboo subject, while the resurrection will be -later-the next and final step for all of us. Even though the topic is extensive, Christianity offers a unique picture of it. Suffice to mention the Christian Creed - first adopted in 325 A.D. in the time of Emperor Constantine - the end of which states... I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen

In these few words expressed in this Creed, everything is said, resurrection and eternal life included. Therefore, how could so many people still be afraid of death, when Jesus-Christ offers immortality to anybody willing to follow his precepts? This is what the author, Gilles Charles Vuille, is willing to communicate, sharing his in-depth knowledge on the subject.

Notă biografică

The author, Gilles Charles Vuille was born in 1943, in Geneva, Switzerland. His career has spanned 50 years of service and counselling, four of them spent outside his native Switzerland (in Cologne, Germany and New York, USA). In 1974 a remarkable event occurred in his life. Without realizing it, and in spite of himself, he fell into God's net. Being curious by nature, he tried to understand what had happened. And so, in parallel with his professional activities he studied, researched and read extensively. From 2004 his time was completely given over to two years of study for theological training. Writing being one of his favourite hobbies, he has taken up his pen to make this counter-point to Richard Dawkins in order to express his own discoveries as another seeker after the incarnate God, discoveries that have led him from a vague, unformed belief to a life of faith. Two paths, one choice.
