Notă biografică
From birth, Robert O Russell's life was filled with complications. After literally being born with his head in a sack (the amniotic membrane) to the death of his father when he was just four years of age, Russell's troubled early years left their mark. As a shy, introverted and easily-manipulated child, Russell encountered sexual perversion from an older male, further obscuring his path to becoming a healthy adult. With two troubled incidents involving alcohol, difficulties holding a job and an unbreakable attraction to married women, Russell's adulthood was plagued with internal struggles. However, forty-five years later, Robert O Russell has turned his life around. Now a builder, author and avid student of theology, Russell has restored meaning to his life, along with a youthful enthusiasm for his future.
Recenzii
"Having read the proof of this book, I believe that it will be used as a vehicle to allow others, who have suffered for years in darkness due to the shame which is associated with such matters, to share their experience and begin the journey to freedom." - Pastoral care worker "A refreshingly honest and open account of a life that, despite adversity and temptation, has put God at the centre of his being." - Linda Goodwin "Bob's first book, The Right Way is a brilliant and moving story of one man's struggle with, and ultimately his discovery of a God who just wouldn't give up on him. The narrative is the story of every man, and of every man's struggle to find meaning and purpose in a world that can offer no hope. I heartily recommend this book to spiritual seekers and to all those who hunger after God." - Tom Griffiths.Senior Pastor - City Praise Centre
