Harry Fassbender is a naive coward, about to be hung for a murder when a mysterious man named Kornikov appears to save him. He makes a pact with Kornikov, who has lured him in with promises of a utopian America. The revolutions of the twentieth century are their test tubes for how to conquer, with Harry acting as a catalyst, and he soon finds that Kornikov's plans have very little to do with making life better for the common man and much more to do with gaining ultimate power.
