The Rocket Chronicles is a collection of real life misadventures involving lots of mischief, a good deal of public humiliation, and some destruction. After completing my military service, the first thing I wanted to do was adopt a dog. Rocket is a Plott Hound mix I rescued from an animal shelter in 2010. Mischief and mayhem became a part of everyday life from the minute I wrangled Rocket into the car to bring him home. Rocket yowls and sings in public, has an affinity for anything made of paper or cardboard, and never ceases to amaze me with his antics. He has been more dog than I bargained for in every way but I have never regretted bringing him home. I hope you enjoy reading The Rocket Chronicles as much as we enjoy living them.
