Notă biografică
Ilan Stavans is the author of numerous books including On Borrowed Words, and The Hispanic Condition, as well as editor of The Oxford Book of Jewish Stories, and The Essential Ilan Stavans. He has been awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship and the Latino Literature Prize, among other honors. Stavans is Lewis-Sebring Professor in Latin American and Latino Culture at Amherst College, MA.
