Our attitude towards the word of God is our attitude towards Jesus Christ. The only way to the Father is only through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ defines the consequences of our attitude towards the word in the parable about the sower. God has fixed standards in righteousness and faithfulness. He is "no respecter of persons" and cannot waver in His divine justice. The fact that one prays and gets substantial results for healing and deliverance does not guarantee that one has an appropriate relationship with God. God's grace is based on entirely different plane. Having experienced the love of Christ and are connected to His Church in one form or the other, we often base our claims to be acceptable to God on fact that we know what God requires. We often claim that we have the sets of rules which are God's sets of rules and that knowing such rules makes us right. This book teaches that our knowledge of God's standards alone does not justify us in the sight of God. In other words, "knowing the rules does not make us right."
