Nicola Levell is an assistant professor of museum and visual anthropology at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver). Her current research, publications and curatorial practice focus on the creative interplay between art and anthropology.
Michael Nicoll Yahgulanaas (born 1954) is a visual artist, and creator of Haida Manga. His wide-ranging artistic practice explores themes of identity, environmentalism and the human condition. Influenced by both the tradition of Haida iconography and contemporary Asian visual culture, he has created an artistic practice that crosses diverse cultures, generations, and disciplines.
Jonathan King is a visual anthropologist, who completed nearly 40 years at the British Museum, London, UK, leaving in 2012 as Keeper of Anthropology. Currently he is working on the Von Hugel Fellow at Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, University of Cambridge, he is working on the Arctic collections from Nunavut, and also completing writing projects about museums, the history of galleries and exhibitions, and an introduction to Native North America.
