There are still many secret codes and ciphers in the world today. The Shugborough Hall Monuments inscrip-tion is one of them. In fact, it is one of the top ten unsolved ciphers. For over two hundred years, many intelligent men and women have tried to break its code, to no avail. Without the aid of ancient cryptology techniques and simple math it cannot be solved. Over the last six years my brother and I have worked diligently to put these old methods together to come up with a solution. Finally, we were able to name the author of the Shug-borough Hall Inscription and what his coded message revealed. The solution will surprise you, as it did us.
