The Sierra Leone Special Court Collection: Appeal Judgment: Sierra Leone, cartea B-1.

Editat de Rene Van Wolf, R. W. F. Van Der Wolf
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 16 oct 2013
The Special Court for Sierra Leone is an independent judicial body set up to "try those who bear greatest responsibility" for serious violations, war crimes, and crimes against humanity committed during the Sierra Leone Civil War, which began in 1991 and was declared officially over on January 18, 2002. On January 16, 2002, the United Nations and the government of Sierra Leone signed an agreement establishing the Special Court, which is located in Freetown. People have been indicted and charged by the Special Court of serious violations of international humanitarian law. These trials have been divided into three groups: Revolutionary United Front, Civil Defense Forces, and Armed Forces Revolutionary Council. Only one trial, the one of Charles Ghankay Taylor, was moved to the International Criminal Court in The Hague. This current volume documents the appeal judgment against Taylor.
