For centuries much of the theology, preachings and teachings in the "Christian world" did not start with the CHIEF CORNERSTONE - the clear and straight forward teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. As a result the many important and essential truth of the Bible especially concerning the God and the gospel of salvation, the kingdom of the God and everlasting life have remained hidden and not revealed for centuries. Instead, the teachings of Paul were translated to provide the essential aspects of the gospel of salvation. Paul's teachings do contain the essential aspects of the gospel. The keys to understanding Old Testament and New Testament scriptures were revealed by the Lord Jesus when He taught the significant differences between the Old Creation and New Creation. And this is also the key to the understanding of the gospel of salvation as preached by Jesus Christ and His apostles. Salvation seems such a simple word that everyone thinks is well understood. What is salvation to Old Testament saints and how are Old Testament saints saved? What did the Lord Jesus define salvation?What does everlasting life mean to New Testament saints?
