If you have ever imagined inanimate objects thinking and talking like people you will enjoy the raindrops as they have adventures that are as great for them as a trip to the moon would be for you. Their duties are varied, sometimes scary, sometimes rewarding but always supervised by an invisible creator. When I was in Grade One, we sang many little action songs. This little ditty, fanciful though it seems, stuck in my memory all these years. Perhaps that was the spark to this story. The little raindrop soldiers come marching from the sky, In uniforms of silver I see them filing by.
