This volume contains solo vocal works and duets composed over the past 30 years and featured on the M tier Records CD, The Silver Hound and Other Songs by Betty Roe (MSV 28566). These songs represent a late flowering of Roe's compositional style for concert pieces, creating a natural melodic flow and her characteristic inclusion of elements from her popular music theatre and cabaret works into her art songs. The songs included are; In a Garden, Two Garden Songs, Magnificat, The Silver Hound, The Fair Singer, Three Songs for Graham, Three Hardy Conversations, The Life that I Have, Autumn's Legacy and Three Celtic Songs.
