Outcast members of two different races must join together for any chance of a new life. Fyr, is a human who has know war and suffering for all of his life, a minor magician using the fading power of mana, and a freelance sword to live. Shelel is a Valu, an exiled member of the last race of dinosaurs, telepathic and approaching the end of their history. Together they may survive an ancient threat to create a new future.
