Summer Acoustic Music Week (SAMW) was founded in 1996 by long-time Boston area radio legend Dick Pleasants. His vision was to build a community based on the love of music and making music. It succeeded beyond his dreams. Now celebrating 20 years, SAMW has become a home for musicians, singers, songwriters - both professional and amateur (in the sense that the word amateur comes from the word 'to love'). This book seeks to draw out the heart of that community through individual stories and interviews.
