Notă biografică

Bill Greer has been involved in church music for over fifty years. He has composed several anthems for various choirs and ensembles at the churches where he has served as organist/pianist and has written many poems - - - mostly for his own enjoyment and for his friends and family. Earlier this year he had one of his children's songs selected for publishing by the Fred Bock Music Company. Bill serves as the current President of The Georgia Festival Chorus (2015-2016). With the encouragement of his wife, Pam, and many of his friends in the chorus and at his church, Bill decided to publish these two poems. A friend in the chorus, Margaret Caudle is his illustrator. They both hope that this will be the first of several successful published works. Bill's full time occupation is in the petroleum industry where he serves as the Executive Director of the Georgia Tank & Equipment Contractors Association and as Executive Director of the Indiana Petroleum Equipment Contractors Association. He is a graduate of Emory University and is a retired U.S. Air Force Officer. Bill resides with his wife, Pam, in Kennesaw, Georgia, and they have four children and six grandchildren. Bill is also the organist at the Hillside United Methodist Church in Woodstock, Georgia.
