The Tale of the Two Black Cats Who Tried to Run Away

Juliet Harmer trained as a primary school teacher at Homerton College, Cambridge. Her specialist age group was 5-7 year olds and her special subject was art. Juliet taught in London for 2 years before becoming a presenter on BBC schools television. She subsequently become an actress until 1970 when she moved to Gloucestershire to paint, write, and bring up her family. Juliet has always loved cats: the day she was leaving London she found a little black kitten in a box on her doorstep. He was the first of six black cats who have always been part of her life. This is Juliet's first children's book for 30 years.
