Just as in the Author's First Book, "Letters To a Lost Nation: A Watergate Chronicle," Jerry Gallagher gives full credit to French-Algerian Writer, Albert Camus', for the idea of writing emotional letters to your Country to comment on Important Political Issues and Events. The 2008 election was tremendously Interesting and Historic. The Author hopes that this book captures both the Interest and the History of the Transformational Epic Election that occured in 2008. That is what Jerry has sought to do in The "Triumph Of Barack Obama." The book is a gathering of the Author's Blog Posts commenting on the amazing events occurring during the Primary Season ending with the Election of Barack Obama in 2008 and concluding with his Inauguration in January of 2009.
