VITAS is currently at the Great Books Foundation in Chicago, while serving as Vice President of the Lithuanian Research and Studies Center, and Assistant to the Executive Director of the Inter-University Seminar on Armed Forces and Society at the University of Chicago. He has published in Air University Review, Presidential Studies Quarterly, Proceedings of the Institute of Lithuanian Studies, The Russian Review, and Lituanus.
