Early 1970s Britain. Gay Rights movements are springing up in the UK, but George, the effeminate, flamboyant frontman of Ermine is disinterested. Instead, he immerses himself in the glam-rock scene, which allows him to slip under society's homophobic radar. Unfortunately, one of the major glam icons announces the genre's demise, so Ermine must fight to get noticed in the tough music industry before it's too late. When Ermine embark on their first proper tours, chance encounters enable George to explore the repressed side of his personality as he begins to come to terms with his feelings. However, his, impulsive desperation leads to him getting overly attached to the men he meets, with distressing and awkward consequences. He struggles to communicate his problem to his moralistic parents, his bandmates and his oblivious and self-centred girlfriend Nerys.Resilient George battles through his emotions and frustrations to show everyone how talented he is. However, just when Ermine looks set to conquer the music world, a major setback threatens their chances.With strong language and sexual scenes.
