The residents of the village of Whitedown were gradually rebuilding their lives after WWII when the 1958 influenza pandemic hit the village. Now in 1959 they struggle to return to normality. This is a story of love, life and hope as it chronicles the struggle of an isolated village in post-war rural Kent.
