The World Economy – Global Trade Policy 2006: World Economy Special Issues

Autor D Greenaway
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 7 mai 2007
The World Economy: Global Trade Policy 2006 is the thirteenth in an annual series in which leading economists provide a concise and accessible evaluation of major developments in trade and trade policy. Each annual volume examines key issues pertinent to the multinational trading system, as well as regional trade arrangements and policy developments at the national level. Each volume also provides assessments of the World Trade Organization's recent Trade Policy Reviews.

The 2006 issue analyses trade structure, Non-agricultural Market Access (NAMA) and their effect on World Trade Organization negotiations. Contributors consider the economic implications around the world from developing countries through to European communities. This year's institutional focus questions why the WTO is deadlocked and what can be done about it and includes evaluations of WTO Trade Policy Reviews of the European Union, Korea and Norway.
