A newly developed machine that will allow access to every important installation in the world, particularly in the United States, is to be sold to terrorists. Two former college buddies, Tyler Bridges and Gerald Franks, are accidentally reunited and become involved in stopping the machine's development before it ends up in enemy hands. Their plan is a simple one: steal the device and destroy the plans. Easier said than done. Meanwhile, Tyler has problems. His girlfriend's father hates him, the bank is foreclosing on him, and thieves have stolen a meteorite he recovered, which has dashed his hopes for financial security. Gerald is being blackmailed, and fears for his life. But when Tyler finds out that his stolen meteorite is used as fuel for the machine, he vows to destroy it and foil the developer's project in the process. The man who is selling the machine, however, has some plans of his own. . .
