Dirk Dobbs and his longtime best friend and sidekick, Randall Durham, were out for a good time weekend, if you can call it that when you're headed to a medical examiners convention, in New Orleans and everyone knows that when you go to the 'Big Easy' you must be ready for anything. Even death. With a massive oil spill in the gulf, the remnants of a hurricane and a gigantic tornado have caused some surprising results. More than old refrigerators and debris have come to rest on the shores of the gulf and New Orleans in particular. Last years outbreak On tiny Deluna Island, Dirk and Randall's home off the coast of Florida, had been kept a pretty hush-hush. The viral infection had produced something that most people would never believe. The walking dead. Zombies. Dirk and his friends had done a good job cleaning up the island, but unknown to them a few got away. They landed in the gulf and now due to the oil spill and the storm they had arrived in New Orleans. Apparently being covered in crude oil kept the salt water from the undead. Who knew? After the devastating tornado, Dirk, Randall and rest of his friends were at the mercy of the undead. While in the swamps Dirk and Randall cross paths with Mama Serafina, the Voodoo Woman. With her strange powers Mama Serafina saw death around the two men and became insulted when they told her that her potions would not cure the problem. The voodoo woman plotted her own revenge and sent her team of voodoo zombies after the pair and their friends. Soon Dirk and his friends are fighting the undead zombies and the mesmerized zombies and it is anyone's guess who would win.
