What if you could go back in time and right an obvious wrong? Connor Harrison and Andrea Nicholson find they must do just that as defense counsel for two innocent men accused of rape and murder. The problem they are facing is compounded by the fact that the two men accused of the crime are black and the victim is white. They find themselves fighting the prejudices of the rural South in 1904 as well as the courts. They must find enough evidence to prove their clients innocence and uncover those guilty of the crime.
