They Came to Dinner

Marjorie and Mike host a dinner at their home as a way of thanking the major contributors to a foundation founded by Marjorie. But the seemingly innocent gathering of these eight people has unexpected results when it becomes clear their lives all intertwine in some fashion.

There's driven Phyllis, who knew her unique calling from a young age. Spiteful Archie, who found unexpected love in his later years. Adopted Marjorie, still living with a tragic event from her teens. Spoiled Jesse, who remains baffled by a college girl's disappearance. Abused Olivia, who rose above her childhood trauma with another woman's help. College student Mike, who finds comfort in an unusual source and finds himself falling for a beautiful woman. Ambitious Lacey, with questionable employment but with a culinary dream.
