Military pedagogical research and teaching has made headways. There is still no internationally accepted unified field theory, but the diversity and heterogeneity of military pedagogy reflects the complexity of modern military tasks and enables the scientific debate on military ethics and morale, military education and interculturality. Hubert Annen is head of Military Psychology and Military Pedagogy Studies at the Military Academy at ETH Zurich. Can Nakkas is research assistant at the Military Psychology and Military Pedagogy Studies at the Military Academy at ETH Zurich. Juha Mäkinen is professor of Military Pedagogy for the Department of Leadership and Military Pedagogy at the Finnish National Defence University.
